5 years ago I joined Elite Body with a friend. I figured I would get a couple training sessions & then go off on my own & continue what I had learned. Well I have never left & Tracey has trained me ever since. Because of the training, nutrition, supplements & discipline that I have received from Elite Body I have achieved goals that I never thought I could do. In 2009 Tracey put a challenge out to the women of Elite Body to see who would like to do the Inaugural event of the Disney Princess half marathon. I decided that I thought it would be a great challenge for me as well a motivator for me to lose more weight. Well since March of 2009 I have done three 5K Runs, one 10K, seven half marathons, & a sprint Triathlon. I am in the best shape of my life right now and feel great! One thing that I have learned is that if you can put your mind over circumstance YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!! Since starting 5 years ago I have lost 13% body fat and (??) lbs. My goal is to do a full marathon next year!!

Training at Elite Body has pushed me to my limits and beyond. In just a few months span I have gained not only physical but mental strength. My favorite part of my day has become coming to the gym to work out. I am always challenged and ready to come back for the next days madness. Mark and Tracey help you set goals and make sure you get to them. I went from not even being able to do 1 pull on the rope to climbing to the top with their pushing and encouragement. The best part of Elite is the family atmosphere, everyone is so supportive and always ready to push right along side of you. Leaving for college I know that when I come home, I will always have a spot right back at the gym. Thank you so much Tracey and Mark and everyone at Elite. I will miss you guys so much.

My name is Jazzmyn Canfield , I’m 10yrs old and I am motocross racer. I started training with Elite Body about a month ago, and they have helped me perform so much better in such a short period of time.I’ve never ever looked forward to working out until I started training at Elite Body! My favorite thing to do during my workout is to work on balance. It makes my workouts seem alot more fun, instead of just running on a treadmill forever. Mark helps me overcome my fears and never lets me give up. He has taught me to finish strong in everything I do. Most trainers probably wouldn’t care , but there’s no doubt that he does. I haven’t been training with him long , but I can’t wait to see were I will be in 6 months or 1 year. Excited!

I’m a kick boxer my amateur record is 4-1. I have been kickboxing under the guidance of Sensei Mark Kern for two years. I spent the last month training at Elite Body Fitness with Sensei Kern & Mark Lucky to prepare for my most recent kickboxing match. My experience at Elite Body Fitness was great. Mark L. took my conditioning to a higher level. Working with him helped me obtain the needed stamina and endurance to finish strong in the final rounds. I look forward to returning to Elite Body to continue my training.

We decided that we needed to make some changes in our lives. We needed to work on becoming more fit and to lose some weight. We started working with Mark and Tracey to help us reach our goals-through personal training and access to the gym. My 7 year old daughter had issues with depth perception and sensory integration. After OT, she was much better but still struggled with trunk strength. She appeared very clumsy on the surface. We started boot camp about a year ago to keep fitness fun and work on her strength. The instructors are amazing with the kids and they do make it fun. Today, my daughter does full sit ups easily, balances on a pretty difficult-to-do balance board, AND we actually play catch. I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to watch her have fun, adopt fitness as a lifestyle and become stronger every day. THANK YOU Elite Body! Your kid’s boot camp means way more to us than just an exercise class.

I’ve been a member of Elite Body now for about 5 years. I have always considered myself somewhat of a “healthy person”. I was young, working out regular, feeling good and eating whatever I wanted, within reason. After being married for a year and a half and becoming a new father, I found myself just not caring about what I was eating, as long as I continued working out, it would be o.k. right? We have all probably been there before, it easy. Then one day as I was getting ready for church, I went to put on my good dress pants, only to discover they did not fit, I was so upset. I had gone from 175 pounds to a good 215 pounds in months! I remember a co-worker saying “jokingly” (not really) “ Man! You sure have put on some weight, haven’t you?” That was a dawning point for me.

I went to Mark and he talked to me about my nutrition and how I wouldn’t really see any changes until I changed that. He also told me how he was running and had seen some changes of his own. So, I started changing how I ate and I started off slow and little as I began this running thing that later, would become a passion. Mark helped me keep my workouts fresh, my nutrition in line and with the extra cardio, I started seeing results faster than I anticipated. These results and my love for running made me want to eat better so I could fuel my body for what I wanted to accomplish. In the end, I’ve lost over 50 pounds in the last year and a half. 3.5 years ago, living in chaos with an infant, toddler and husband I knew I had to get out of the house by myself before I went crazy. So, I joined Elite Body and thought I would give boot camp a try. The babies crying all the time would drive me out of the house to boot camp. That was my motivation, my quite time. Now things have calmed down and i acutally enjoy working out. i added training with mark last december and have acomplished many excersises i never thought i could do, like climbing the rope, throwing the bag and flipping tires. at 38 years old i am stronger and more fit than i have ever been. thank you mark and tracey!

I was at 200 pounds and at a point of not even wanting to get off the couch. I made the decision one Monday to get off my butt and get to the gym. I met Sensei Mark Kern and the rest is history. August 2009 was a real eye opening, life changing month for me. One evening while my husband was out of town, I was staring at myself in the mirror wondering who the person was staring back at me. I thought I looked so old. I wasn’t resting, I wasn’t exercising, I wasn’t healthy… the one thing I was doing was eating all the wrong things and watching the scale go up and up…I decided that evening to make some very BIG changes in my life. My daughter had been urging me for months to go see Mark at Elite Body. I finally made the decision to do just that. I set up training with Tracey 2 days a week and was hoping to get in 2 additional cardio days on my own. Through many set backs, (mostly health related), I was faithful to going and even made up lost sessions. In December, I made a visit to my doctor and added a weight loss program. By January, I was getting so discouraged, I just was not seeing any results. I came very close to just giving up on all of it. I am so glad that I DID NOT. The two photos were taken exactly one year apart. I was down 40 pounds. (I could hardly contain myself in a fitting room one day when I had to ask twice for a smaller pair of pants. I literally stood there and cried) When I run into people that I have not seen for a while, and they just look at me and say WOW, it is what drives me to continue what I am doing. I look better, I rest better, I feel better but mostly I am happy again.

Elite Body Fitness is a great facility with a strong work ethic. I have been going for 3 months now and I can see & feel a difference in my strength and riding ability. Before I started training, I would become so tired after a moto on the track, but with Marks help, I don’t get tired as easy and can ride longer and push harder. As a fellow motocross rider, Mark pushes me to new levels and helps me fight through the burn & pain it takes to finish strong in my races. I have done exercises and workouts that I would have never thought of and they are always there to get me through when I am struggling. Through my workouts and the nutrition program Mark has me on, I have gained a total of 10 pounds in 3 months. If not for Elite Body my transition to a bigger bike would have been harder.
